Metropolis centre street closures for TRNSMT Competition in Glasgow Inexperienced revealed

GLASGOW‘S greatest pageant TRNSMT is coming to town in July – listed here are the street closures and restrictions that might be in place to facilitate the occasion.

In line with a leaflet distributed to native residents, clients may have entry to personal coaches, dropping them off at The Inexperienced and choosing them up at Kings Drive on the finish of the evening, 11pm, or 12pm for VIPs.

 

There may even be Native Entry Solely restrictions in place from 8am to 1am on July 5, 8, 9 and 10 on the next streets within the space: Binnie Place, Monteith Row, Monteith Place, Arcadia Place, McPhail Road, Templeton Road, Greenhead Road, Florence Road, Waddell Road, Business Highway, Moffat Road and McNeil Road.

That is to discourage festival-goers from parking right here.

Parking attendants might be current to hold out enforcement.

Highway closures might be as follows: Greendyke Road from London Highway to Charlotte Road might be shut between 8am on Monday, June 20 and Friday, July 15.

Charlotte Road and Greendyke Road between Charlotte Road and Turnbull Road might be closed between 10am and 1am on July 5, 8, 9 and 10 July.

These residing on the streets may have entry from Turnbull Road through London Highway or Metal Road.

 

Greendyke Road, St Andrews Road, Mart Road, Clyde Road, James Morrison Road, Metal Road, Jocelyn Sq., St Margaret’s Place and Turnbull Road might be shut from 10am to 1am on July 5, 8, 9 and 10.

These streets may have Native Entry Solely from 10am till 9pm all nowadays and might be closed to all visitors afterward.

 

Lastly, Kings Drive and Bridge from Ballater Road to James Road, The Inexperienced from James Road to Fundamental Road, Saltmarket and Crown Road from Glasgow Cross to Ballater Road and Bridgegate from King Road to Saltmarket might be shut from 9pm to 1am on July 5, 8, 9 and 10.
