A 40-year-old man has been charged with plenty of medication offences as a part of a PSNI investigation into the North Down UDA.

he man will seem earlier than Newtownards Magistrates’ Courtroom on July 19.

Police confirmed he has been charged with possession of a Class A managed drug with intent to produce, possession of a Class A managed drug, possessing legal property and worrying in provide of Class A managed drug

As is regular process, all prices are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

The person had been arrested following the search of a property in Newtownards by the PSNI’s Paramilitary Crime Process Drive.

The investigation by the officers is a part of an investigation into the North Down Brigade of the UDA.

The 40-year-old had been arrested on April 20 and later launched on bail pending additional police enquiries.

He returned for questioning on Tuesday.
