Activist lands in court for ‘objectionable remarks’ against Modi, Nitish, Adityanath

Muzaffarpur (Bihar): A grievance petition has been filed in opposition to Jaipur-based social activist Sanjay Garg for posting “objectionable remarks” in opposition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath on social media.

The complainant, Vaibhav Mishra, a resident of Muzaffarpur, alleged in his petition on Wednesday that Garg’s current social media posts in opposition to the PM, and the 2 CMs have been extremely objectionable and that he ought to be booked beneath sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The court docket of Chief Judicial Justice of the Peace Courtroom (CJM), Muzaffarpur will hear the matter on July 22, Mishra’s lawyer Kamlesh Kumar stated, including that particulars of the social media posts have been talked about within the grievance.
