Wrexham secured a fairytale return to the English Soccer League after a 15-year absence with their Hollywood house owners watching on as they beat Boreham Wooden 3-1 to win the Nationwide League with a sport to spare on Saturday.

ll eyes had been on the Welsh membership owned by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as they sought the victory that may safe their emotional return to League Two.

Boreham Wooden threatened to tear up the script once they scored within the opening minute, however an Elliot Lee equaliser after quarter-hour settled the nerves of the sell-out Racecourse Floor.
