A 23-year-old American vacationer fell into the crater of Mount Vesuvius, the volcano looming over Naples, Italian media reviews.
The incident occurred on Saturday after the vacationer and three of his family members determined to bypass the customer entrance to the volcano and take a forbidden path to the summit.
The person, who fell a number of metres into the crater after shedding his steadiness, was rescued by carabinieri and acquired remedy for his gentle accidents from emergency companies.
The vacationer and his household had been then cited by police, together with two different guests, for taking the prohibited route which was clearly marked as being extremely harmful and out-of-bounds.
