Members of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha have unanimously determined to dissolve the tenure of the members.
Opposition chief of the Kelaniya PS – Vipula Peiris has proposed to finish the members’ tenure, noting that it’s inappropriate to benefit from the privileges of the PS when the whole nation is dealing with such a critical catastrophe.
The proposal has been seconded by the ruling members together with Nishantha Athukorala.
The SLPP held majority energy on the Kelaniya PS.
In the meantime, in a Fb publish, Kelaniya PS member – Oshan Nandasiri has introduced his resignation.
The resignation has come forward of the proposal.
