A tweet by a Kherson native exhibits vehicles queuing as much as depart the area.
Oksana Hliebushkina says: “That is how individuals attempt to depart the occupied Kherson area. Tons of of vehicles in line.
“Beforehand, they needed to wait hours within the fields for permission to depart, now they’ve to attend for a number of days, as a result of the occupiers launch not more than 80 vehicles per day and solely as soon as a day.”
Ukraine on Friday warned residents in southern Kherson and Zaporizhzhia to evacuate because it prepares to launch a counteroffensive to retake the world.
Each areas have been occupied by Russian troops in late February after they crossed the bridge from Kremlin-annexed Crimea.
Iryna Vereshchuk, the deputy prime minister for the ministry of reintegration of briefly occupied territories, urged Ukrainians within the occupied territories to depart by “all means doable”.
She mentioned: “You will need to search for a strategy to depart as a result of our armed forces will de-occupy. There can be an enormous battle. I don’t wish to scare anybody, everybody understands every part anyway.”
