Truck loses load of beer kegs on highway, causing traffic delays

A truck has caught hearth and misplaced a load of beer kegs on the Logan Motorway as different crashes on main highways trigger heavy site visitors on the roads.

4BC site visitors reporter Olympia Kwitowski stated eastbound lanes on the motorway have been blocked at Heathwood, close to Forest Lake.

“There are beer kegs all around the highway, so there’ll be a giant clean-up,” she stated.

Kwitowski stated three different crashes on Wednesday had additionally prompted site visitors jams.

“A crash on the Bruce Freeway southbound on the Pine River Bridge has site visitors again to North Lakes and the crash on the Logan Motorway has delays again to Ellen Grove and westbound delays again to Drewvale,” she stated.

“A four-car crash has now cleared on the Centenary Freeway inbound at Jindalee however site visitors stays again to Richlands with delays on all the encircling roads by Mt Ommanney and Jindalee, [with vehicles] making an attempt to get onto the motorway and affecting the Ipswich Motorway inbound with site visitors again to Wacol.”

Kwitowski stated Bruce Freeway had 10-kilometre delays eastbound and seven-kilometre delays on the Centenary Freeway.
