Stillborn baby tossed out in the trash at California funeral home


A contractor for a funeral house in Lodi tossed the physique of a stillborn child into the trash, and now police have launched an investigation.

Workers at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Residence contacted police Saturday after discovering the physique was lacking from storage, Lodi police stated in a press release.

Investigators realized the physique had been tossed out by an worker from a contracted transport service, authorities stated. The worker threw out a field that held the stays about two weeks earlier, police stated.

The physique couldn’t be retrieved as a result of all the waste containers from the funeral house had been taken by a group firm, a press release from police learn.
