ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has acquired 3,700 metric tonnes of LP gasoline, the primary consignment out of the 33,000 metric tonnes of LP gasoline ordered for the month of July, a President’s media division assertion stated and distribution to instantly start.

The Chairman of Litro Gasoline Firm Muditha Peiris has stated the gasoline distribution will probably be common and systematic from July 12 and the issue relating to home LP gasoline demand will probably be fully evaded by the tip of this month.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has instructed the officers to hold out the unloading and distribution of as the primary ship arrives at Kerawalapitiya at this time (10) at 1500hours.

A second ship carrying 3,740 metric tonnes of gasoline is due on July 11 and a 3rd carrying 3,200 metric tonnes of gasoline will arrive on July 15.
