Quebec has come to an settlement in precept with the 200 workers working for SQDC, the provincially run hashish shops.

The settlement will quickly be introduced to CSN members at a normal meeting. The union represents workers of the Société québécoise du hashish (SQDC). There was no remark made by the union.

A strike day had been deliberate for Saturday. Staff had been demanding wage fairness with workers of the Société des alcools du Québec. SQDC workers earn between $17.12 and $21.23 an hour. SAQ workers have a beginning wage of $22.59 per hour.
