Mme Catherine Colonna, Minister for Europe and International Affairs, spoke as we speak to Mr Han Duck-soo, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, to whom she handed a letter from the [French] Prime Minister.

The [Korean] Prime Minister and the Minister highlighted the wonderful bilateral relationship, primarily based on widespread values and a shared dedication to multilateralism and respect for the legislation as the muse of the worldwide order. The Prime Minister and the Minister talked about precedence goals for strengthening the excellent partnership between our two nations, together with the launch of latest founding partnerships within the industrial and technological spheres.

The Prime Minister and the Minister voiced their concern about North Korea persevering with its ballistic and nuclear programmes, in violation of the United Nations Safety Council resolutions.

The Minister welcomed South Korea’s dedication within the worldwide response to Russia’s aggression towards Ukraine and the wonderful bilateral coordination in response to the results of the battle.
