Sir Paul McCartney mourns late brother-in-law John Eastman

Sir Paul McCartney has paid tribute to his late brother-in-law and lawyer John Eastman following his loss of life on the age of 83. 

The Beatles star, 80, shared a photograph of him and Eastman doing yoga poses collectively as he shared a touching message. 

He wrote: ‘My expensive brother-in-law, John Eastman, has handed away. Having recognized one another for over 50 years it’s a particularly unhappy time for me, and our households.

‘John was an ideal man. One of many nicest and smartest individuals I’ve had the great luck to have recognized in my life.

‘Not solely did he assist me massively in my enterprise dealings as my lawyer however as a good friend he was arduous to beat.’

Sir Paul added: ‘His sense of humour at all times shone by in every little thing he did and his devotion to his household was supreme.

Eastman was the brother of Sir Paul’s late spouse Linda McCartney, who died on the age of 56 in 1998. 

She had been recognized with breast most cancers three years earlier in 1995, which metastasised to her liver. 

Eastman is survived by his spouse Jodie Eastman.
