Scottish Authorities ‘totally deprecates’ No 10 strategy to commerce unions, says minister


PLANS from the UK Authorities to permit employers to exchange placing staff with company workers reveals a “hasty and hostile strategy to industrial relations”, Scotland’s Employment Minister has stated.

In a letter to the Minister for Small Enterprise Paul Scully, Richard Lochhead accused Westminster of “anti-trade unionism”, which the Scottish Authorities “totally deprecates”.

Below the present commerce union legal guidelines, employment companies are restricted from offering non permanent company staff to cowl for placing staff.

The UK Authorities is looking for to alter these guidelines so as to plug staffing gaps and mitigate the influence of business motion.
