Sánchez meets Biden earlier than NATO summit


Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez held an hour-long assembly with Joe Biden yesterday on the US president’s first official go to to Spain, which is for the NATO summit in Madrid.

They agreed to resume and replace their ‘strategic’ relationship, with the settlement set to incorporate a rise in US army personnel in Spain and two extra US navy destroyers for the bottom in Rota (Cádiz).
