Pope seeks prayers for his ‘penitential’ Canadian pilgrimage

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis on Sunday requested for prayers to accompany him on what he referred to as his “penitential” pilgrimage to Canada to apologize to Indigenous teams for abuses inflicted by the Catholic church.

Greeting the general public in St. Peter’s Sq., Francis famous that on July 24, “God prepared,” he’ll start a seven-day journey to Canada.
