NSW Police charge David Mapp over murdering mother with pot plant

A person has been charged after allegedly killing his 82-year-old mom with a pot plant on the NSW Central Coast.

Police had been referred to as to a home in Tumbi Umbi on Thursday, following reviews of concern for the lady’s welfare.

Paramedics arrived about 5.15pm to search out the lady lifeless in the home with head accidents.

Police arrested David Mapp, 56, on the home. He was taken to Wyong police station and charged with homicide.

His lawyer appeared on his behalf at Wyong Native Courtroom on Friday.

No utility for bail was made, and it was formally refused, which means he’ll stay behind bars.

Police allege Mapp assaulted his mom with a pot plant on Thursday morning.

He then allegedly left the home earlier than returning later to name emergency companies.

Police imagine the pair lived on the property collectively.

Mapp will subsequent seem earlier than Wyong Native Courtroom on September 20.
