Indore (Madhya Pradesh): An unidentified youth reportedly stole Rs 1 lakh from the donation field at a gurdwara in Rajendra Nagar space, police stated on Saturday. The gurdwara administration has lodged a grievance with the police and handed over CCTV footage to them by which the youth is seen stealing cash. The accused couldn’t be arrested until the submitting of this report.
Ravinder Singh Khanuja, the joint president of the Gurdwara in Amitesh Nagar knowledgeable media individuals that they got here to know in regards to the theft after they put a coin within the field and heard a sound. They later opened the field and located money lacking from it. After that, CCTV footage was checked and a youth was seen getting into the gurdwara thrice and stealing cash from the donation field.
On the pretext of prayer, the youth entered the Gurdwara and after not discovering anybody there, stole money from the donation field. In keeping with Khanuja, the youth was seen within the footage on June 22, June 23 and June 26 stealing cash. The gurdwara administration later knowledgeable the police and gave CCTV footage of the incident to them.
The police have registered a case below related sections and began an investigation. Efforts had been on to determine the youth. Police claimed that the accused could be arrested quickly.
