Blackpool have signed Liverpool defender Rhys Williams on a season-long mortgage deal.
The 21-year-old centre-back has made 19 senior appearances for the Reds, and spent the primary half of final season on mortgage at Blackpool’s Sky Guess Championship rivals Swansea.
“I’m so pleased to be right here and I wish to present everybody what I can do that season,” Williams informed the official Blackpool web site.
“I feel I’m aerially dominant due to my top, and I’m a vocal defender. I prefer to have the ball at my toes too, so hopefully I can play the way in which the gaffer needs us to play.
