Korea to challenge E-7 visas to Lankan employees

Korean Ambassador to Sri Lanka Santhush Woonjin Jeong promised to attract consideration of the Korean authorities over offering ‘E7 visa facility’ for Sri Lankan employees who’ve labored in Korea for greater than ten years and returned.

E-7 visa holders can invite their partner and kids for a secure working life.

The choice was revealed throughout a dialogue held between the Korean Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Santhush Woonjin Jeongand Labour and Overseas Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara on the Ministry in the present day.

The dialogue was additionally targeted on offering extra job alternatives to Sri Lankans in Korea and offering worldwide degree technical coaching programmes to the workforce of this nation.

Accordingly, the Ambassador mentioned that consultants within the discipline of engineering and expertise from Korea’s excessive tech establishments assured that needed steps could be taken to implement  coaching applications for younger women and men who’ve left college and are on the lookout for employment.
