Iran-Russia $40b oil contract is a win-win deal: Official

The CEO of Iran’s Petroleum Engineering and Growth Firm
(PEDEC) mentioned that the memorandum of understanding on funding
signed between Iran and Russia was an instance of a win-win deal,

The implementation of the MoU may pave the best way for constructive
developments in Iran’s oil and gasoline trade, Abouzar Sharifi informed
IRNA on Sunday.

Iran’s oil and gasoline trade is in want of funding and
superior expertise and Russia wants completion of the
Worldwide North-South Transport Hall (INSTC) to swap its
oil merchandise, Sharifi mentioned, expressing hope that the MoU may meet
the calls for.

Along with the funding in improvement of oil and gasoline
fields, as mentioned by the CEO, the MoU may benefit Iran in
transporting oil, gasoline and oil merchandise from the Caspian Sea
littoral states to the Sea of Oman.

Nationwide Iranian Oil Firm (NIOC) and Russia’s Gazprom signed
an MoU on funding in Iran’s oil and gasoline this week, as Russian
President Vladimir Putin paid a go to to Tehran.
