Three main Iranian film-makers, Mr Jafar Panahi, Mr Mohammad Rasoulof and Mr Mostafa Aleahmad, had been arbitrarily arrested in Iran on 8 and 11 July 2022.
France is very involved about these arrests and people of different Iranian figures dedicated to defending freedom of expression of their nation. The arrests illustrate the worrying deterioration within the scenario of artists in Iran.
France requires the rapid launch of those figures and calls on the Iranian authorities to adjust to their worldwide commitments, particularly to ensure the total train of freedom of expression and creativity.
