The most important drawback that Alicante’s provincial climatologists are warning of is the rising temperatures within the Mediterranean Sea. Jorge Olcina, director of the Climatology Laboratory of the College of Alicante, mentioned that after verifying the “pre-summer” information within the province, the temperature of the ocean this week is already, round 25 levels, which represents a rise of three levels over the conventional temperature within the penultimate week of June.
