The depart of all staff belonging to establishments below the Ministry of Agriculture has been suspended on sixth of July so as to facilitate the environment friendly distribution of urea fertilizer.
The choice has been taken on the directions of the Minister in control of the topic, Mahinda Amaraweera.
Accordingly, preparations have been made to move 65,000 metric tons of urea arriving within the nation to the Agrarian Facilities from seventh to fifteenth of July, and to finally hand it over to farmers.
Subsequently, the depart of staff of the Ministry of Agriculture, Agrarian Companies Division, Nationwide Fertilizer Secretariat, Ceylon Fertilizer Firm and Industrial Fertilizer Firm shall be canceled throughout this era.
