Opposition Chief Matthew Man says he hopes swings to the Coalition in Labor’s heartland in Melbourne’s north and west imply the Andrews authorities will hearken to voters who he says need “a change in perspective”.
“There have been some really large swings to our aspect of politics in Melbourne’s north and west,” Man mentioned throughout tonight’s speech.
“[There are] swings above 15, approaching 20 per cent, in Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs and that alone, I simply say, is a message, that on this time period of presidency I hope that the Labor Celebration, who will kind the federal government, will heed that message and may have a change in fashion, a change in perspective, an strategy extra targeted on uniting Victorians, not simply dividing them as has been the case.
“I hope and belief that the subsequent time period of workplace for the federal government will likely be a unique one. As a result of Victorians want to listen to that.”
