Banff Avenue capturing sufferer dies, police say two shootings this week not linked

The 24-year-old man who was shot on Tuesday on Banff Avenue has died, police reported on Thursday morning. His title was not launched.

The capturing occurred at round 12:30 p.m. Tuesday within the 200 block of Banff Avenue, within the Banff/Ledbury neighbourhood. Police wouldn’t have a suspect in custody.

Ottawa Police Service’s murder unit is now working with the drive’s weapons and gangs unit, and is asking anybody with data to come back ahead.
