Man charged over alleged Cranbourne hit-run that left van driver critical

A Werribee man has been charged with harmful driving inflicting critical harm and failing to render help after an alleged hit-run in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs.

The collision occurred on the intersection of the South Gippsland Freeway and Claremont Avenue in Cranbourne about 12.45pm on Wednesday.

A 63-year-old man who was driving a van which rolled in the course of the incident was taken to The Alfred hospital, the place he remained in a crucial however steady situation on Saturday with higher physique accidents.
