A homicide suspect has been charged with fatally capturing a Texas man who approached him about breaking into his automobile – all whereas he was out on felony bond.
Jerel R. Banks, 21, is suspected of homicide and tampering with proof associated to a southwest Houston capturing that killed Blake Deion Davenport on June 30, the Houston Police Division stated Wednesday.
Police had initially responded to a report of a capturing within the car parking zone of a Houston condo advanced and located Davenport with a number of gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced Davenport lifeless on the scene.

That is when Davenport’s girlfriend shot the suspect together with her personal gun, police say. Banks allegedly ran away whereas firing a shot at Davenport’s girlfriend, who was struck within the leg and handled at a hospital.

Banks was arrested with out incident final Friday. Houston Police Division’s press launch didn’t reveal what Banks was out on felony bond for.
