MOGADISHU, Somalia — Somalia’s authorities says 5 civilians had been killed when al-Qaida-linked extremists stormed a regional authorities workplace within the capital on Sunday.

The al-Shabab extremist group claimed accountability for the assault on the Banadir Regional Administration headquarters in Mogadishu.
