Yeshiva student in serious condition after getting stabbed in a fight

A 17.5-year-old teenager from a yeshiva in the West Bank city of Modi‘in Illit was evacuated to Tel Hashomer hospital Sunday after getting stabbed in the upper body.

Early reports suggest that the background to the stabbing was criminal.

The teenager is receiving stabilizing emergency care at the hospital. According to the paramedics who treated him on site, he was evacuated while in serious, unstable condition.
