Telus Corp. desires to cross on bank card charges to clients and plans so as to add a 1.5 per cent “processing payment” beginning this fall.
In a letter to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Fee, the telecom big says the surcharge is meant “to cowl the processing prices that bank card funds incur” and would apply to present and future clients exterior Quebec.
The doc, which is dated Monday, seeks permission from the regulatory physique so as to add the payment to its phrases of service.
