The RCMP is investigating after a passenger died in a UTV rollover accident Saturday within the Okanagan’s Lake Nation.

RCMP obtained a report at about 4 a.m. of the accident at Spion Kop trails within the space of the Summit Path.

The passenger on the UTV, a 34-year-old man, was pronounced useless on the scene. The motive force, additionally a 34-year-old man, was arrested for alleged impaired operation of a car inflicting demise and was taken to hospital with minor accidents.

The Lake Nation Hearth Division, BC Ambulance Service, Central Okanagan Search and Rescue and Kelowna RCMP Forensic Identification Providers assisted with this investigation.

RCMP Watch Commander Tammy Lobb mentioned in an announcement: “Our ideas are with the sufferer’s household at this troublesome time.”

The BC Coroners Service is investigating and the sufferer’s id has not been launched
