Victorian Opposition Chief Matthew Man says the Victorian Electoral Fee requested him final evening to supply all documentation regarding a contract drawn up by former chief of employees Mitch Catlin.
The proposed contract, revealed by this masthead final week, proposed a donor give $100,000 in funds to Catlin’s advertising enterprise. The contract was by no means signed.

Talking from Wodonga this morning, on the NSW-Victoria border, Man instructed reporters the contract was not drawn up at his request and he was getting ready to ship the fabric the VEC requested.
“Final evening the electoral fee has commenced some preliminary work, and so they’ve requested me for any documentation we now have,” he mentioned.
“I’ll comply and ensure we’ll ship each stage, and each step.”

Man mentioned the VEC had requested for the “emails and another documentation” that was offered to him regarding the matter.
“Nothing was superior,” he mentioned of Catlin’s proposed contract. Catlin resigned final week.
Three employees, together with Catlin, have left Man’s workplace previously fortnight. The opposition chief mentioned there have been no vacancies in his workplace.
