Comedian Paul Chowdhry confirms he was ‘attacked in his car by thugs’

Comic Paul Chowdhry has responded to a fan who witnessed him being attacked by ‘thugs’ in his automobile on Friday evening. 

Paul, 47, is an everyday on panel reveals and the stand-up circuit within the UK, and beforehand introduced Stand Up for the Week.

Nonetheless, the much-loved comedian was concerned in a terrifying incident earlier this week, which led a fan to intervene. 

He confirmed he was attacked whereas ‘in his automobile’ after the witness messaged him to examine whether or not he was okay. 

He posted screengrabs of messages despatched to him by the involved fan: ‘Hey Paul was that you just at new Oxford road? Regarded like some thugs tried to assault you.’

They added:  ‘I did ship the police who had been just a few automobiles behind however I believe you drove off by then.’

He informed his followers on social media: ‘I used to be attacked in my automobile yesterday in London. I’m effective and I’ll replace you as quickly as I can.’

Followers of the star shortly despatched their love, and had been relieved to listen to Paul was doing okay. 

Fellow comic and Unfastened Girls star Judi Love commented: ‘Omg hope your okay hun xxx’.

One other added: So sorry to see this. Actually hope you’re OK xx.’

Another person wrote: ‘Don’t let it shake you up. Glad to listen to you’re effective.’

The Met Police informed Metro.co.uk that they haven’t but acquired a report in relation to the incident. 

It comes after Paul, who’s of Indian Punjabi Sikh descent, informed Gaby Roslin he had been the sufferer of racially motivated assaults previously. 

‘I’ve been attacked, a lot of stuff has occurred to me,’ he informed the TV star, on her That Gaby Roslin Podcast.

‘However you may’t let it have an effect on you, you understand it’s part of human nature, a number of the darker sides.’
