The Indian House Analysis Organisation on Tuesday injected the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft into the translunar orbit.
“Chandrayaan-3 has accomplished its orbits across the earth and is heading in direction of the moon,” the nationwide area company headquartered right here mentioned.
“A profitable perigee-firing carried out at ISTRAC (ISRO Telemetry, Monitoring and Command Community). ISRO has injected the spacecraft into the translunar orbit,” it mentioned.

An ISRO official instructed PTI that following Tuesday’s trans-lunar injection (TLI), the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft escaped from orbiting the earth and is now following a path that may take it to the neighborhood of the Moon.
In different phrases, the spacecraft started its journey in direction of the Moon on Tuesday, after leaving the Earth’s orbit following the TLI maneuver, which positioned it on ‘lunar switch trajectory’.
