Blue’s Lee Ryan apologises for behaviour after being arrested on flight

Lee Ryan has apologised to followers and his bandmates after being ‘arrested for disruptive behaviour’ whereas on a latest flight. 

The Blue singer, 39, had been photographed being arrested at London Metropolis Airport on the finish of July after changing into disruptive on a flight from Glasgow when he wasn’t served alcohol. 

He took to Twitter on Friday to apologise for the incident, writing: ‘A notice from Lee. Over the previous few days, I’ve had quite a lot of time to consider my behaviour and the way it impacts folks round me.

‘Because it has been properly documented, I’ve at all times had my struggles with alcohol and sometimes say or do foolish issues on account of that, which in flip has triggered issues for myself and people round me. For that I wish to apologise to everybody I’ve upset or offended.’

Lee added: ‘Final week, I acted inappropriately on a flight to London and I wish to ask for forgiveness to the airline employees, everybody on the flight, in addition to my band mates, my household and our followers.

‘The time has come for me to take possession of the foundation trigger of those issues and for that cause, I’m decreasing my schedule in the interim to hunt skilled assist and spend time with my household.

Lee thanked those that had despatched him messages of assist and apologised to ‘everybody that [he has] let down’.

In accordance to The Solar’s report on the time, aircraft employees had radioed down and Lee was arrested when the aircraft touched down at London Metropolis Airport. 

He’s thought to have spent greater than 12 hours in custody and was later launched pending additional investigations.

A Met Police spokesperson informed Metro.co.uk: ‘At round 1640hrs on Sunday July 31, officers met a flight that had arrived at London Metropolis Airport from Glasgow.

‘A 39-year-old man was arrested for a public order offence. He was taken into custody at an East London police station and was launched below investigation the next day.’
