Seven topped its Large Brother champion final evening, and simply over half 1,000,000 folks cared sufficient to tune in. Much more had been into what was cooking on Ten’s MasterChef finale.

The 2022 version of Seven’s Large Brother completed final evening (582,000 nationally), as did Ten’s MasterChef Australia (1.171 million for the winner, 1.006 million for the lead-up – round 1.08 million common). The previous generated a “so what” from viewers, the latter reasonable curiosity — sufficient to push Seven into third place for a second evening in a row.
Australian Ninja Warrior File Breakers (aka “offcuts of the collection”) with 643,000 was sufficient to maintain 9 in entrance after a strong evening for the hour of reports from 6pm (1.170 million common) and A Present Affair (1.012 million).
For all Seven’s chest-beating about how nicely BB was doing in streaming and seven-day viewing (and it was getting by share boosts in viewer numbers from a low base), the very fact is final evening’s closing had weak scores. So weak, in truth, that not like earlier years Seven failed to separate the figures into the winner announcement and the lead-up, as Ten did with MasterChef final evening.
