Large Field Video games
Why it was superior:
As a result of online game field artwork was nice and deserved a greater show than what it will get from a tiny DVD case or a digital case (which is not any case in any respect.)

Why it in all probability will not return:
The one good argument towards the massive bins is that they actually did take up an excessive amount of house and, properly, we’re transferring away from bodily media, so it is not as if we’ll purchase empty cardboard bins, proper? Properly, perhaps.

Collector’s editions appeared to have changed large bins altogether, and that is a disaster as a result of these items obey completely no storage conventions (and so they’re often ugly and dumb as hell).
